“A Streetcar Named Desire” is a play that revolves around Blanche Dubois, a fragile and a delusional woman who moves in with her sister, Stella, and her brutish husband Stanley Kowalski, in New Orleans. Blanche’s past is gradually revealed, showing her descent into madness and her struggle to maintain her fragile facade in the face of reality. The play explores themes of illusion versus reality, desire, and the destructive nature of the human psyche.
