It is dark, freezing winter in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a depressed upper midwest community resistant to change. Bus drivers Jordie and Monica’s routine is upended when Butch enters their lives and inspires them to consider complicated new possibilities for queer companionship and love. In an environment that is physically, socially, and economically hostile to them, this unlikely trio find warmth, connection, and home thanks to and/or in spite of one another.
