1/4” Scale Model

At an evening party for Midsummer, Miss Julie, an artisocrat has an affair with her father’s valet, Jean, in the kitchen. She is quickly overshadowed by gender roles, power, and class. My design of showcases meat as a metaphor for how Miss Julie is seen in her world and society. To her valet, she is nothing more than a piece of meat to butcher.
